Skillful Work
In the world of Lévi-Strauss, there is a concept called Bricolage. It refers to the act of using Tools Made for the Job to Be Done and Manage with available means to carry out one's work. Instead of creating new tools, it involves utilizing Remnants that are No Longer Used from previous structures to serve the purpose of building new structures.
The process of bricolage involves Analysis, which is extracting elements from various existing entities, and Synthesis, which is creating a new entity from these diverse elements. It also involves skillfully Distribution of the produced items to compensate for any lack, using the remnants as a resource.
While an Engineer may question the universe, a Skillful person focuses on the collection of remnants, which are the substructures of culture created by human hands. This approach is a prime example of a Structural concept.
